1-1 Yoga sessions

Yoga has so many incredible benefits for our body as well as our mind. It can help us to feel more present, encourage us to tune into the gentle rhythms of our body and build strength, flexibility and balance.

Group classes can feel a bit daunting and it is not always clear what level it is pitched at or which style of yoga is being taught. They can sometimes feel overcrowded and impersonal, or exposing if your very unique body doesn’t bend into a similar shape to the teacher or anyone else.

I offer 1-1 yoga sessions which begin with me listening to what you would like to experience through yoga; maybe an awareness of some foundational poses that can ground you and help you to bring yourself into the present moment.

Or I could offer you some personalised flows which could help to build a sense of balance, fluidity or build strength or length in a part of your body in which you feel stuck.

I can teach you some breathwork techniques and ways to soothe your vagus nerve to promote a more restful state if you have a busy mind.

Or perhaps you would like to attend group classes but would appreciate some 1-1 sessions to begin with, as a way to build confidence and familiarity in your practice.

These 1-1 sessions can take place in my therapy space in central Hove, just off of Church Road, or I can offer home visits.
